Responsibilities
Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scripts
Experience setting up test data and test environments
Work with developers to resolve defects and issues
Create test cases and scripts that can be used by end-users to conduct UAT and/or Pilot Testing
Interpret test data and interface with development teams and management
Track and report test results for the product's compliance to the functional specifications
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage
Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA
Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
Conduct non-functional testing such as performance, load, and security testing
Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks
Advocate for continuous quality improvement and best practices in QA processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience demonstrating required skills and competencies
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance development and testing
Functional and System regression test experience
Knowledge of Agile Methodology
Work with scrum team in developing sprint plans
Complete assigned tasks within the sprint timeline and with high quality
Database experience including DB2, and/or relational database knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience in Agile Software Development methodologies including Scrum
Can-do attitude with a delivery focus
Experience in the financial services or fintech industry
Knowledge of Data Warehouse/Data Mining would be a plus
Experience setting up test data and test environments
Distributed testing skills, knowledge of protocols, database file structures, and exposure to both on-line and batch based systems
