Senior People Operations Business Partner

Responsibilities

Build and maintain trusted partnerships with leaders and staff to understand and address employee-related concerns and trends
Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases involving workplace conflicts, policy violations, discrimination, harassment, and performance challenges
Provide expert guidance to managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
Conduct and document thorough, fair, and timely workplace investigations
Partner with General Counsel and People Operations leadership to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies
Analyze employee relations data—including exit interviews and engagement feedback—to identify trends and recommend proactive strategies for culture and retention
Collaborate with the Sr. Director of People Operations and immigration counsel to manage immigration processes (H-1B, green cards, work authorizations) while ensuring legal compliance
Conduct exit interviews and contribute to offboarding strategies that support continuous improvement and retention
Partner with Training and Development to design and deliver targeted employee relations and compliance training programs
Maintain and update employee policies and handbooks in collaboration with Legal and HR colleagues
Support Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) initiatives in partnership with People Operations leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience required)
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a strong focus in employee relations
Proven experience handling complex workplace investigations, accommodations, and performance management
Proficiency in Google Suite
Experience with HRIS platforms
