This role is instrumental in supporting new product launches, meeting cost and performance targets, and advancing sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design and develop cost-effective, high-performance packaging solutions for a wide range of electronic products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality benchmarks

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and packaging strategies

Lead sustainability initiatives by researching emerging materials and technologies, developing strategic roadmaps, and contributing to the company’s annual sustainability report

Generate and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including mechanical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials

Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in packaging design and materials without compromising product integrity

Stay current with industry trends, materials innovation, and regulatory requirements to ensure Crestron remains at the forefront of packaging technology

Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and broader organizational goals

Qualification

Packaging engineeringShip packaging solutionsCAD experienceAdobe IllustratorProblem solvingProject management

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in packaging engineering, packaging science or mechanical engineering with an emphasis on ship packaging or equivalent work experience

A minimum of 6 years of experience in ship packaging solutions for electronic products

CAD experience required (Creo preferred)

Adobe Illustrator skills required or ability to learn quickly on the job

Ability to creatively solve problems using sustainable materials

Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
