SQL and Snowflake Developer

The SQL and Snowflake Developer will manage data processing and reporting functions, utilizing Augeo's data assets and AI for analysis and reporting, while developing ETL packages and helping to build out a new Snowflake data warehouse.

Responsibilities
Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Copilot-assisted scripting and Cursor’s SQL autocompletion
Optimize Snowflake performance with AI query tuning tools like BlazeSQL and Cortex AISQL
Use AI to generate and validate data models, schemas, and transformations
Document data processing and data validation procedures for all assigned programs and keep documentation updated
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL failures with AI-driven anomaly detection
Automate documentation using AI summarization tools
Validate data using AI-powered test generation and schema comparison
Support account teams with AI-assisted data queries and visualizations
Contribute to process improvements by piloting new AI tools and workflows

Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft's T-SQL query language
Proficiency in Snowflake (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, performance tuning)
Experience with C# for scripting tasks
Experience with code repositories including Azure Dev Ops / Git
Familiarity with Mongo and the ability to write queries against data stored in Mongo
Knowledge of data warehousing practices, data marts, and operational data stores
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of SOC2 process controls and security standards
Strong written and verbal communication
Analytical mindset with a passion for AI-augmented problem solving
Experience collaborating in AI-enhanced development environments
Organized, with the ability to work independently toward project driven deadlines
Experience with SSIS, complex stored procedures, and data imports
Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and relational database technologies
Preferred
Two- or four-year degree preferred
Familiarity with AI-enhanced development workflows and tools
Exposure to Tableau BI or Power BI reporting tools
