Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance Python-based applications for trading, risk management, and market data analysis
Collaborate with quantitative analysts, traders, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust software solutions
Design and implement data collection, processing, and storage pipelines, ensuring data integrity and security
Integrate with external trading platforms, APIs, market data feeds, and other financial systems
Enhance existing systems with new features, performance improvements, and automation
Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high code quality standards
Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to capital markets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field
5+ years of development experience with a strong focus on Python
In-depth knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments, trading architectures, and workflows
Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Hands-on experience with financial data APIs, FIX protocol, and market data feeds
Familiarity with quantitative modeling, algorithms, and financial analysis
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure), containers (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Exposure to C++, Java, or other languages used in trading systems
Knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling techniques
Experience with big data tools like Spark or Hadoop
