Research Assistant III (Rater)

Responsibilities

Conduct face to face and/or telephone interviews with participants, in accordance with predetermined interview protocol, data collection procedures and documentation standards
Participate in community recruitment of research participants and screening into studies and projects
Conduct neuropsychological testing with participants in studies and projects
Scoring of interview, completing and conducting research protocols and statistical analysis
Coordinating data entry, merging files, completing quality control checks, QC files and data collected
Administering functional research exams for participants in studies and projects
Administrative tasks such as copying, preparing research materials, filing as needed
Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary and any other duties as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of scientific research techniques, methods and procedures
Ability to work effectively with fellow researchers, staff members, faculty, supervisors and students
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Academic writing skills

Preferred

Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
