Responsibilities

Assist engineers in developing, testing and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment

Support the setup, calibration, and maintenance of production machinery and tools

Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues

Create and maintain documentation such as work instructions, process flow diagrams, and equipment manuals

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies

Train production staff on new equipment and updated procedures as needed

Required

Associate degree or technical diploma in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, automation, and manufacturing processes

Knowledge of or experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus

Familiarity with quality control standards and tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis)

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred

Experience with PLCs, CNC machines, or robotics

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or ISO standards

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
