The role involves equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs in a fast-paced industrial setting, focusing on maintaining safety while working with potentially hazardous materials.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems that may include support equipment such as servo motors and controllers, stepper motors and controllers, AC motors and controllers, and DC motors and controllers
Troubleshoot and repair electro-pneumatic systems that include solenoid valves, gate valves, high vacuum isolation valves, vacuum pumps and pneumatic logic circuits
The completion of all scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and repair procedures in a timely, accurate, and safe manner
Qualification
Required
An Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies or Electromechanical Technologies or Military Equivalent, or other relevant equipment maintenance education/experience
Experience troubleshooting electrical issues
Experience troubleshooting vacuum systems
A safety-minded approach is required: employees must be able to learn, understand and follow all safety documentation, specs and protocol, including LOTO. Must also be able to identify any/all safety concerns and regulatory violations in order to eradicate them
The ability to consistently take initiative and drive one's own work at a high level
Be cross trained in other areas as needed
Comfortable handling chemicals, including acids, bases, and solvents
Comfortable handling gas systems, including toxic, corrosive, flammable, pyrophoric, and asphyxiant gases
Ability to read electrical schematics
Ability to use digital multimeters and voltage supplies
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a collaborative environment, and as part of a team
The flexibility to work outside of normal schedule, cross train, (learn more than one job or operation) and multi-task as needed
Requires standing for up to 75% of shift
Requires lifting of objects that weigh up to 50 lbs
May require work with hazardous gases, chemicals, and high voltage

Semiconductor equipment knowledge preferred
Experience with the following system preferred: CD SEMs: Hitachi CS5000, AMAT NanoSEM & AMAT VeraSEM, DDP: AMAT COMPLUS, AMAT G2 SEM & Rudolph AUGUST NSX-95, Fab Metrology: KLA Tencor, Rudolph, CDEs, Coat & Develop: TEL ACT8, FSI PS2100 tracks & SVG90 tracks, Lithography: ASML 5500 I-line steppers & ASML 5500 DUV steppers
