Play an integral role throughout the design process; from conceptualization, detailed analysis and design, release of technical drawing packages, through the development of manufacturing processes and specifications

Ability to qualify for a US Department of Defense security clearance required

B.S. or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 or more years of experience designing structures encountering challenging vibration, shock, and temperature environments

Experience with the various elements of mechanical analysis and design, including selection of structural materials, adhesive and fastener selection; ASME Y14.5, other relevant ASME drafting standards and modern Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) practices; familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100/MIL Specifications as they apply to flight structures

Ability to work in a team environment involving experts in diverse disciplines, incorporating inputs from electrical and aeronautical engineers to create functional and robust designs

Experienced using parametric CAD software to create models of assemblies, parts and drawings
