Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a regional team of 10, fostering development and enhancing operational risk expertise across Investment Banking and Asset Management business lines
Provide strategic and technical guidance to ensure consistent execution of operational risk frameworks and standards
Leverage deep product knowledge in global markets and investment management to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks
Partner with global leadership to align regional initiatives with enterprise-wide risk management objectives
Ensure adherence to U.S. regulatory requirements and internal risk governance expectations
Deliver insightful risk reporting and analysis to senior leadership and governance committees
Oversee end-to-end operational risk coverage for assigned business areas, including risk assessments and control reviews
Drive regional and global initiatives to enhance operational resilience and risk culture
Contribute to the design and execution of control remediation and continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to promote a proactive risk management environment
Represent the region in global forums, ensuring transparency, knowledge sharing, and alignment on key risk themes
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in operational risk management within investment banking and asset management
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams
Deep product knowledge in global markets and investment management
Experience in aligning regional initiatives with enterprise-wide risk management objectives
Knowledge of U.S. regulatory requirements and internal risk governance expectations
Ability to deliver insightful risk reporting and analysis to senior leadership
Experience overseeing end-to-end operational risk coverage, including risk assessments and control reviews
Proven track record in driving initiatives to enhance operational resilience and risk culture
Experience in control remediation and continuous improvement efforts
Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional partners
