Auto Service Technician

Colony Tire Corporation is currently seeking a skilled full-time Automotive Retail Service Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while ensuring excellent customer service and quality work.

Retail

Responsibilities

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections
Diagnose and repair automotive issues including, but not limited to, engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical systems
Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems accurately
Provide customers with accurate service recommendations based on diagnostics and inspections
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets safety standards and Colony Tire's quality expectations
Maintain clean and organized workspaces, adhering to Colony Tire’s safety and cleanliness protocols
Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members regarding repairs, parts needs, and any additional service recommendations
Follow up on repair orders and maintain detailed service records
Stay up to date with new automotive technology, service procedures, and manufacturer specifications
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional manner

Required

Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for long periods, work with hands, and lift up to 100 lbs
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Preferred

High school or equivalency, and/or related experience is preferred but not required
