Responsibilities
Identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities and promoting Exponent through industry contacts
Significantly contributing to increasing Exponent's civil and geotechnical engineering consulting efforts
Providing strategic consulting and expert witness work
Bringing advanced and insightful solutions to clients in your recognized areas of expertise
Providing project management and project budget oversight
Developing and mentoring staff in both technical and business areas
Qualification
Required
M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering plus 15 years of experience
Significant business development experience with a proven track record
Ability to attract projects to support full-time staff and to manage and develop a group of highly motivated individuals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
A record of professional papers and presentations and a proven record of dedication to quality and accuracy
Current licensed professional civil engineer in at least one state with ability to become licensed in multiple other states
