Sr Director of Clinical Development & Strategy

Responsibilities
Prospective and active customer engagement
Act as a clinical subject matter expert, partnering with the sales and client success teams to articulate the value of oncology-focused utilization and enhanced care management programs
Lead the clinical narrative in key client engagements, including finalist meetings and impact analysis discussions
Support the development and delivery of tailored presentations to prospective stakeholders, highlighting clinical and financial impact
Travel up to 30% for in-person meetings, client presentations, and industry conferences
Identify and interpret relevant clinical and financial data, such as cancer trends, drug utilization, and spend patterns, to support impact analyses and strategic business opportunities
Collaborate with data and analytics team members to translate data into actionable insights for client-facing engagements
Partner cross-functionally with sales, client success, data and analytics, and other internal teams to shape and execute high-impact presentations and proposals in complex sales cycles
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our current customers performance and feedback
Represent the organization as a recognized thought leader in oncology and managed care, shaping the market's understanding of value-based oncology strategies
Present at national conferences, participate in webinars, and lead discussions on the role of clinical expertise in driving managed care outcomes
Collaborate on the creation of high-quality oncology content for marketing
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the evolving oncology treatment landscape and its implications for payer strategies
Qualification
Required
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree required
Certification: Active unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state required
Typical years of experience are 15 years with at least 5+ years in oncology
Strong presentation skills required
Must be proficient in evaluating oncology drug treatment choices
Must possess ability to interpret primary scientific literature
Must be willing to travel up to 30%
Systems/Tools: MS Office Suite proficient
Preferred
Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) strongly preferred
Managed care/payer experience preferred
Managed care experience with an emphasis on managed care strategies in oncology and trend analysis preferred
Proficiency with a Business Intelligence tool (Tableau or Power BI) preferred
