Responsibilities
Support analyses on supply chains of critical weapon systems to provide recommendations for optimization
Collaborate directly with suppliers and the U.S. Navy to implement changes and monitor progress
Identify further risks to production schedules and quality
Support other cross-functional teams in this area performing similar work
Develop plans and assessments to help critical suppliers increase production of critical parts to support Navy systems
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders around the world to work collaboratively to improve communication and workflow
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience with logistics policy, supply chain operations, process improvement planning, and project support
Experience leading or supporting cross-functional teams in supply chain optimization, risk mitigation, or strategic sourcing initiatives
Experience with DoD sustainment, logistics, or production, including active duty and NAVSEA Program Office support for weapons systems equipment
Ability to travel to supplier sites up to 30% of the time, with higher tempo near start of employment

Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Experience with program management of major ACAT programs
Experience with data analysis to support supplier evaluations and risk modeling
Knowledge of production, supply chain, and industrial base concepts for defense programs
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related Technology field
PMP or DAWIA Certification
