Responsibilities
Ensure all resources are being used efficiently and effectively
Ensure all subordinates are following all laws and guidelines including OSHA, EPA, DHEC, NEC and FDA guidelines
Direct supervisors and mechanics for all maintenance work and ensure assignments are in relation to their skills
Control duration, cost, quality, and thoroughness of all work
Assign and direct all PM work orders
Ensure safe work practices are followed
Oversee skills training and development of employees
Confirm all work is reported through the CMMS daily
Supervise all direct reports, complete reviews and provide feedback
Participate on continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
5+ years technical management experience in a consumer products, food or beverage facility
5+ years' PLC experience
3+ years' capital project experience
Experience with preventative/predictive maintenance
Experience managing salaried personnel (supervisors)
Strong analytical ability
Excellent communication skills
Proven leadership ability
Preferred
BS in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical)
USDA knowledge
