Responsibilities
Manage and grow strategic relationships with banks, financial institutions, and technology platform partners, driving measurable outcomes in revenue, customer engagement, and partner satisfaction
Develop and execute partnership plans that align with BILL’s business goals, identifying new opportunities for joint value creation
Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Product, Engineering, Legal, Revenue, Finance, and Marketing teams to deliver innovative partner programs and seamless integrations
Drive partner performance and operational health, resolving issues and ensuring joint success of goals, deliverables, and timelines
Support, and in some cases lead, strategic negotiations and contribute to deal structures that advance shared business objectives
Establish best practices in partnership management, reporting, and go-to-market execution to enable scalability and efficiency
Qualification
Required
7–10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or partner account management, preferably within fintech, SaaS, or B2B payments
Direct experience managing and scaling top-10 bank or financial institution partnerships
Proven ability to execute partnership strategies, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable business impact
Strong understanding of financial services ecosystems, APIs, and digital platform integrations
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills; comfortable engaging at both executive and operational levels
Strategic, analytical, and solutions-oriented with a track record of thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree a plus
