The successful candidate will manage structural design projects for simple and complex bridges, oversee all phases of project development, and lead a multidisciplinary team while actively participating in business development.

Responsibilities

Oversee the design of simple and complex bridges

Oversee all phases of project development including planning, scheduling, inspection, analysis, design, development of contract plans, cost estimates, and technical specifications and reports

Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and drafters as well as coordinate with clients to complete assignments

Active participation in business development

Qualification

BS in Civil EngineeringNJ PE licenseBridge transportation projectsMS in Structural EngineeringMentoring

Required

BS in Civil Engineering (MS in Structural Engineering preferred)

NJ PE license

Experience working on bridge transportation projects

Ability to mentor less experienced staff

Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required

Preferred

Experience with NJDOT and NJTA design standards and current state of practice such as accelerated bridge construction and prefabricated bridge elements

Prior project management experience along with a strong understanding of associated disciplines and construction operations
