Responsibilities

Act as the Responsible Engineer Authority (REA), with full knowledge and accountability for all design and performance aspects of your assigned programs. You'll make real-time decisions on non-conforming hardware, authorizing immediate actions like rework, repair, or scrap to prevent production delays
Drive continuous improvement efforts by focusing on process optimization and yield improvement. You will provide technical inputs to minimize waste and maximize resource utilization, helping to integrate technical data packages and update risk management documents
Partner closely with the Quality organization to provide critical technical insights for Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA). Your expertise will be essential in identifying the root causes of non-conformances and implementing effective, long-term solutions
Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for a cross-functional team, including design, quality, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure cohesive and efficient problem-solving
Manage required engineering analysis and provide authoritative technical inputs on all aspects of your assigned programs, ensuring adherence to systems engineering principles and industry standards

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of experience. Without a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience is required
Deep knowledge of CAD, GD&T, and materials analysis
Previous experience working with root cause analysis, non-conformances, and designing/testing new processes
The ability to quickly assess and make informed decisions on complex problems, ensuring rapid and effective closure
Exceptional communication skills to effectively represent the engineering team and work collaboratively with diverse cross-functional teams
The ability to obtain a US Security Clearance is required
