Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials for all individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with site access and security-related procedures
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures, adapting to the unique needs of the technology and media environment
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate to Allied Universal management and client contacts
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any access control violations for reporting purposes
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation protocols and supporting first responders when necessary
Qualification
Required
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
