Senior Labor Counsel

Responsibilities
Respond to questions from operators and claims raised before state and federal agencies (including and specifically the National Labor Relations Board), arbitrators and courts
Responsible for labor arbitrations, collective bargaining and associated legal issues and strategic coordination with other corporate departments in helping to implement overall objectives
Involved in the defense of traditional labor claims brought against these entities before federal, state, and local agencies as well as claims raised in the courts and before arbitrators
Work independently on behalf these entities or in conjunction with outside counsel. When working with outside counsel, Counsel will be responsible for the overall management of the case
Qualification
Required
JD from an ABA accredited law school
10+ years' legal experience
Subject-matter expert on labor law regulatory compliance and risk management issues
Admission to a state bar
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
