Responsibilities
Design, maintain, and optimize electrical distribution systems (low and medium voltage), backup power systems, and control infrastructure
Lead engineering projects involving PLCs, SCADA, BMS, and other automation/control systems for facilities equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and controls issues across facilities systems such as HVAC, process gases, ultrapure water, and chemical delivery
Develop and maintain electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and system documentation
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NEC, NFPA, OSHA)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, maintenance, and EHS to support operational goals
Manage contractors and vendors for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and control systems
Lead capacity expansion, tool install readiness, and infrastructure upgrades
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system failures or performance deviations
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical training programs
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience
