Responsibilities
Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program
Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program
Oversees the assembly line from raw materials to finished belt
Trains, coaches, and supports the assemblers to ensure their line is properly equipped to complete daily orders
Evaluates the efficiency of employees and makes suggestions for permanent hire
Meets daily production expectations as per production board and documents barriers when applicable
Encourages Continuous improvement culture
Performs any other tasks required to ensure the Company goals are met as directed by management
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma or equivalent
Continuing education via various training seminars and/or college credits
Must be a solid communicator
Ability to work well in a team atmosphere
Experience in a supervisory role and/or proven leadership competency
Experience or proven ability to manage multiple employees
Must be able to work in the US
Ability to frequently lift up to 55 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
