The Chief Accounting Officer will lead the global accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence while partnering with various departments to support the company's growth as it prepares for public company status.

Responsibilities

Set the global accounting vision, policies, and operating model; align roadmaps to growth, margin, and cash priorities
Oversee GAAP financials and external reporting (10-K/10-Q/8-K), disclosures, and earnings support with on-time, error-free delivery
Own the close calendar, reconciliations, intercompany, consolidations, and inventory/COGS; standardize processes and SLAs across regions
Author policies and memos for complex areas (revenue, leases, stock comp, business combinations); advise on M&A and integrations
Advance ERP/reporting tools and automation to compress cycle time, improve data quality, and enhance self-serve analytics
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing, globally distributed accounting team; elevate execution, judgment, and ownership

Required

Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance
CPA required
15+ years progressive leadership, including CAO/Corporate Controller scope at a public company
Mastery of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX
Proven success through audits with no material weaknesses
Hands-on with revenue recognition, stock comp, leases, consolidations, FX, and M&A accounting
Track record modernizing close, reconciliations, and IC/FX processes
Strong ERP/reporting automation background
Multi-entity, multi-currency operations and statutory coordination across countries
Crisp executive communication
