The IT Communications Engineer is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, managing communication systems, and collaborating with telecommunication technicians to ensure system safety and maintenance.

Responsibilities
Design and management of controls network architecture to also include CCTV, security systems, equipment hookup networking, commissioning utility equipment, fire systems, emergency broadcasting, PA systems, IT network blueprints, and TI or buildout projects
Develop and review communication infrastructure layout plans, including planning, specifications, and cost estimates, safety planning, and coordination with owners, sub-consultants, and clients
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) impacting production impacts due to communication system failures
Support a series of emergency broadcast tests during fire inspections and fire drills related to the operation of the public address system
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related degree
8+ years of relevant experience as a communication engineer, or IT systems engineer, or network engineer in design deliverables for capital projects in a manufacturing environment, preferrable in semiconductors
Advanced troubleshooting skills, including managing the public address system, facility CCTV system, and supporting telecommunications issues
Experience in designing and managing controls network architecture including CCTV, security systems, equipment hookup networking, commissioning utility equipment, fire systems, emergency broadcasting, PA systems, IT network blueprints, and TI or buildout projects
Ability to develop and review communication infrastructure layout plans, including planning, specifications, and cost estimates, safety planning, and coordination with owners, sub-consultants, and clients
Experience leading root cause analysis (RCA) impacting production due to communication system failures
Ability to support emergency broadcast tests during fire inspections and fire drills related to the operation of the public address system
Preferred
Prior knowledge of industrial and/or commercial processing equipment, semiconductors, or telecommunications utility operations
Working knowledge in a commercial setting, including vendor management and implementation of systems into manufacturing environment
