This high-visibility role focuses on overseeing a portfolio of distressed and complex project finance transactions in infrastructure, power, and natural resources, while driving portfolio optimization and recovery strategies.

Responsibilities
Oversee a portfolio of distressed and underperforming project finance loans across North and Latin America
Develop and execute loan workout and restructuring strategies to optimize recoveries and minimize losses
Lead credit processes, including preparation of credit applications, exposure management, and review of amendments or waivers
Partner with restructuring advisors, internal stakeholders, and legal counsel on complex negotiations and documentation
Monitor transaction performance, conduct due diligence, and maintain awareness of industry trends impacting portfolio assets
Prepare periodic management and regulatory reports, including reserve calculations, write-off forecasts, and accrual status updates
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations
Present credit analyses, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering skill development and enhancing team effectiveness
Lead or contribute to special projects and portfolio optimization initiatives across the Americas region

Experience monitoring transaction performance and conducting due diligence
