Responsibilities

Design Software Architecture: Develop and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures tailored for space-based interceptor systems within the digital engineering ecosystem

Integrate Engineering Tools: Seamlessly integrate digital engineering tools, including model-based systems engineering (MBSE) platforms, simulation environments, and data analysis tools, to enhance program workflows

Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with engineers, scientists, and program leaders to ensure software systems align with program goals and technical requirements

Leverage Digital Twin Technology: Architect solutions that utilize digital twins to optimize interceptor design, testing, and operational capabilities

Ensure System Security: Develop architectures in compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity and information assurance standards

Required

Bachelor's degree with 15 years' related experience; Master's degree preferred

Expertise in modern architecture frameworks, cloud-based solutions, Agile environments, and integration of complex software systems

Experience with digital engineering tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MATLAB, STK, or ANSYS) for model-based systems engineering and simulation

Working knowledge of DoD standards, including MIL-STD-881 or relevant policy directives

Exposure to space-based systems, orbital mechanics, and/or missile interceptor technologies

Must have an Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

5 years' prior experience for access to Special Access Program Information (SAP), or Controlled Access Program (CAP); must have 1 year in the last 5 years
