Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with physicians and other NP PAs to provide high quality hospital-based care
Assess, diagnose and treat patients in the Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care Units (PCU)
Complete admissions, daily hospital visits, discharges, and consultations
Demonstrate leadership through involvement on committees and team projects, education, and research
Actively seek to improve the practice through performance improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certification
Experience in hospital-based care
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other NP PAs
Experience with high acuity patient populations
Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including daytime shifts, swing shifts, weekends, and holidays
Demonstrated leadership through involvement on committees and team projects
Interest in patient care, education, and research
