Responsibilities
Lead the Manufacturing Operations activities with our contract manufacturer through new initiatives within the manufacturing and supply chain organization
Coordinate with down stream functions for demand and availability of airplanes
Liaison to manufacturing process, quality and test teams along with global logistics teams for issue resolution and driving new initiatives
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
Strong written communication and organizational skills with demonstrated cross functional collaboration
Strong leader with demonstrated stakeholder management skills and cross regional management
This role would require working outside business hours or/and on weekends during escalations for issue resolution
Qualification
Required
8+ years of industry experience in one or more of the following fields: Product development and or Manufacturing Operations
Experience working on capability enhancement, capacity management, scaling up or down based on business needs
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and traceability requirements for high reliability industries
Program Management Experience with a proven track record of successful implementation in a matrix organization working with quality, process and test teams
Experience with continuous improvement to minimize product costs
Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment
Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10-15%
