Material Handler II

The Material Handler II plays an essential role in the efficient operations of the Distribution Center, responsible for operating machinery, handling products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities
Operate distribution center machinery including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and sweepers in a safe and efficient manner
Perform outbound picking, packing, and staging of orders for shipment
Perform inbound receiving and stocking of materials into appropriate warehouse locations
Assist with cycle counting and maintaining accurate inventory records
Perform janitorial and housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and safety of the facility
Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs or safety issues
Follow all company safety policies, standard operating procedures, and quality standards
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily performance goals and productivity targets
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Must be certified or able to become certified to operate forklifts and reach trucks
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
Basic computer or RF scanner skills preferred
