District Partnerships Manager (Special Education – US Based)

AbleSpace is on a mission to simplify how special education teams collect, analyze, and act on IEP goal data. The District Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with special education administrators across school districts, guiding them through the buying journey and demonstrating the impact of AbleSpace's solutions.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a pipeline of school district prospects, with a focus on special education departments
Conduct live and virtual demos of AbleSpace to district teams, highlighting its impact on compliance, efficiency, and teacher experience
Travel (approximately 25–40%) to attend conferences, onsite demos, and district meetings
Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and lasting partnerships
Understand district priorities and tailor AbleSpace solutions to meet their specific goals
Lead the full sales cycle — from outreach and qualification to negotiation and close
Represent AbleSpace at conferences and professional associations for special educators (e.g., CASE, CEC)
Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and communications in CRM
Provide feedback to internal teams to inform product development and marketing efforts

Required

1+ years of experience in education sales, district partnerships, or business development. We also welcome former educators or related service providers who are passionate about transitioning into EdTech and building partnerships with school districts
Experience presenting to school or district leadership teams
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel within the US as needed
Familiarity with K–12 education systems, preferably in special education or EdTech

Preferred

Background as a special educator, speech-language pathologist, school psychologist, or related role
Experience with IEP management, goal tracking, or special education technology solutions
Previous work with a mission-driven SaaS or EdTech company
