Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or equivalent degree in finance (or a field appropriate for teaching finance) from an accredited higher education institution
Demonstrate an appreciation of Bucknell's liberal arts tradition
Willing and capable of teaching introductory and upper-level courses in the department's finance major
Current needs are fixed income, financial statement analysis, derivatives, and corporate finance
ABDs will be considered with the requirement they complete their doctoral degrees within one year from the start of the appointment
Candidates with post Ph.D. full-time teaching experience may be granted credit towards tenure
Show promise of a vigorous scholarly trajectory
Strong commitment to collaboration and interdisciplinarity
Access to major finance and accounting research databases through the Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS)
Access to an investment lab with access to Bloomberg terminals
