Responsibilities

Organizes and maintains project-related information that includes 3D CAD models, CAD drawings, material lists and related documentation

Determines completeness of project related information and request information when necessary

Works closely with Sales, Project Engineering and Project Management to ensure all designs are per project specifications and schedule

Prepares drawings required for Customer approval, material procurement and for fabrication

Reviews drawings of peers to assure accuracy and best design practices

Assists the Engineering team in issuing project documents to the customer and fabricators

Required

Associate's degree in computer Aided Design or related degree

Five (5) years minimum of related engineering experience

Required experience designing industrial casing plate ductwork and structural members

Required experience with 3D modeling

Ability to calculate lengths, distances, angles, areas, volumes, required

Preferred

Experience with Autodesk ® Inventor design software, preferred

Experience with industrial process piping, preferred

Knowledge of butt weld, socket weld and threaded piping systems, preferred

Working knowledge of P&ID development and evaluation, preferred
