Responsibilities
Provide oversight for multiple small teams or one large team of Regulatory Administration and Filings staff responsible for reporting and making recommendations around legislation and providing client support
Manage the performance of teams and set area priorities, directing the reporting of legislative issues to provide clients with information needed to make regulatory decisions
Manage delivery of prospectuses, proxy statements, and other SEC-required filings to clients and provide guidance on regulatory requirements
Collaborate with in-house counsel to ensure filings are created and delivered in accordance with regulations
Set and provide guidance on processes for performing calculations needed to answer regulatory questions on behalf of clients
Direct teams in working with clients’ accounting firms to exchange client information and complex data needed for regulatory matters efficiently
Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and team effectiveness
Contribute to the achievement of large team or multiple teams’ objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
5-7 years of total work experience including 0-1 years in management is preferred
Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively lead multiple small teams or one large team
Preferred
JD from an accredited law school
Experience in the securities or financial services industry
