The Accounting Intern will support various accounting sub-departments and gain valuable experience in the energy industry while assisting with financial processes and reporting.

Responsibilities
Perform journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform financial statement analysis
Process non-operated revenue checks
Process non-operated JIB invoices
Process revenue and JIB PPAs
Document financial statement close processes
Assist with revenue distributions
Assist with accounting for land and lease activity
Assist financial statement tie out and 10Q preparation
Qualification
Required
Open to all Accounting majors, undergraduate and graduate
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Accounting degree program
Must have at least completed sophomore year at an accredited 4-year degree program prior to the start of the internship
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 or above
Preferred
Experience working with large data sets and BI tools preferred, but not required
