Responsibilities
Establish and communicate the long-term technology vision, architecture standards, and development best practices
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders to align architectural priorities with strategic goals
Define and evolve the technical ecosystem, with a focus on integrated payment platforms and enterprise-level scalability
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of architects and senior engineers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence
Evaluate and recommend architectural solutions, clearly outlining both technical and business implications
Advocate for architectural investments and modernization efforts to enhance delivery speed, agility, and quality
Ensure alignment between enterprise and product-level architecture initiatives
Support continuous improvement across delivery, ensuring resilient, efficient, and interoperable systems that integrate seamlessly with partner and customer environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
15+ years of experience in Agile software development and architecture
10+ years designing and delivering multi-tier enterprise applications
5+ years of experience leading architecture or engineering teams
Demonstrated expertise in at least three of the following: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Cloud (AWS preferred), Infrastructure, Design Patterns, Messaging, Mobile, or Multi-Tenant Architecture
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of payments or fintech industry experience leading payment architecture initiatives
Strong understanding of payment systems, platforms, and business models
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across technical and business functions
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a track record of driving results in fast-paced environments
