The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating the movement of goods into and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate documentation and preparation of shipments.

Responsibilities
Inspect incoming products for damage or irregularities
Verify items against ASN (Advance Shipping Notice)
Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently
Update shipment status and tracking in warehouse management systems (WMS)
Maintain clean, organized docks for efficient workflow
Prepare the dock for incoming shipments
Coordinate with the Outbound team and the Inventory Specialist to maintain an organized inventory
Maintain timely escalations on all irregularities in received products/shipments
Prepare all products once packed by fulfillment for shipment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic math and reading comprehension skills
Experience with shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift packages (often 30–50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
Familiarity with shipping platforms (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, etc.)
Basic computer skills and the ability to use inventory software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred
Forklift and/or pallet jack certification is a plus
Previous experience with ERP or WMS systems
Knowledge of packaging requirements and warehouse safety standards
