Associate Director, Hosting Product Manager

Responsibilities

Define the multi-year strategy for hosting services with a focus on innovation, resiliency, and efficiency
Oversee the full product lifecycle for hosting services, from requirements and design to delivery and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with customer and organizational goals
Manage and own the hosting roadmap that represents a 2-3 year set of features and capabilities to build and operate based on customer needs, business needs, and market trends
Works with product owners/engineering to build features for the hosting services organization. Ensures translation of feature requirements into delivered engineering products
Works with operations and customer success to ensure features are maintained, observed, and that customers are onboarded to leverage the services
Serve as the primary liaison between IT leadership, business units, operations teams, and external vendors/partners communicating strategy, trade-offs, and progress, and securing alignment across functions and business units
Partner with enterprise architecture, IT infrastructure, cyber, data and application teams to design cohesive, future-proof hosting environments that meet enterprise requirements
Influence and align stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, regional teams, and external partners/vendors
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure organizational leadership in cloud innovation
Communicate strategy for enterprise hosting continuous improvement which includes executive level and detailed project briefs and status updates
Drive new project evaluations, technology reviews, challenge proposals and build consensus
Successfully maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature

Required

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
5+ years experience in developing 3-5 year strategic hosting roadmaps including public/private/hybrid cloud implementations (e.g., AWS, Azure, Datacenter)

Preferred

Proven experience leading hosting transformations to a product centric delivery model
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor performance effectively
Experience working in Aerospace & Defense industry
Deep expertise in public (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud), private, and hybrid cloud environments
Strong strategic thinking with experience creating and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
Demonstrated success leading large-scale cloud transformation programs
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all organizational levels
