Project Manager - Vibrant Moms Phase II Grant

The Project Manager will oversee the implementation of maternal health initiatives funded by a grant, coordinating activities among community organizations and ensuring compliance with project standards.

Responsibilities

Provides project management including adherence to budget, schedule and scope
Plans, schedules or coordinates projects activities to meet deadlines
Monitors project compliance
Coordinates the overall integration of the project
Supervises and directs project personnel; assigns duties and responsibilities
Works closely with principal and co-investigators to manage project development and implementation
Assesses project staffing needs; assists with hiring and training any/all new staff
Supervises and coordinates community health workers and research assistants working on the project
Manages project development and implementation
Manages primary data collection, assists in the development of study-related databases
Assists in the monitoring of data collection for accuracy and completeness
Coordinates and supervises daily project activities
Ensures compliance of project activities with human subjects research, and with other internal and external needs
Assists with editing of proposals and manuscripts
Manages IRB submissions and correspondence
Maintains compliance standards (CITI, HIPPA, etc.)
Provides employee and programmatic updates to PI on a regularly scheduled basis
Monitors and tracks project milestones; manages ongoing timeline for milestones
Ensure preparation and submission of monthly reports to funding agency
Establishes community partnerships and maintains rapport with established partners
Plans and provides training for community partners and project sites
Designs, implements, leads, and participates in community events for awareness and participant recruitment
Manages participant navigation through the program to bring all program participants into compliance for recommended screening
Performs additional duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree plus three years related experience; OR a combination of education and/or related experience to equal seven years

Preferred

Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as public health, or other health-related degree
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Database creation and management experience
Background in social, behavioral, medical, or health sciences research
Experience in public health, community health, or health care setting
Human subjects research experience
Experience working in interprofessional settings and with complex teams
Prior experience with priority population (pregnant/perinatal individuals) or with maternal and child health
Data analysis and publication experience
