Responsibilities

Work as a subject matter expert for aircraft metallic tubing to resolve emerging and complex technical issues affecting component on-time delivery and part shortages
Work with Global Supply Chain Managers, Technical Subcontract Managers (TSM), Capacity/Rate Readiness, Supplier Risk/Performance Analysis, Supplier Quality, Design Engineering and others to identify global supply chain disruption risks and mitigate existing issues
Support root cause corrective action (RCCA), supplier evaluations, technical evaluations for suppliers
Support development of improvement strategies and mitigation plans

Required

Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent engineering experience plus education
In-depth knowledge of aircraft tubing manufacturing
Root Cause Corrective Action experience
Experience with military specifications and standards
Ability to work with suppliers at their facilities, including some potential international travel
Must be a US Citizen for consideration
This position requires a government security clearance

Preferred

Previous Global Supply Chain experience
Experience working with suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure all procured materials meet quality and performance standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical discussions with suppliers, internal teams, and government representatives
