The Sr. Field Service Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair refuse collection vehicles in the field, while also training other technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

Conduct all aspects of advance repairs on all our refuse collection vehicles

Train other technicians by assisting them with troubleshooting and accurate way of searching for parts

Inspect and troubleshoot different types of vehicles to determine a resolution

Assist technicians with Quality Control issues when necessary

Continuously maintaining a safe and orderly work environment

Maintain one's own service truck maintained in good working order, clean and presentable

Required

High School Diploma or GED and five (5) or more years of relevant experience in machine assembly, light fabrication; or previous relevant contracting experience with Oshkosh Corporation; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role

Valid driver's license must be maintained at all times

Ability to possess a DOT card

Strong mechanical and technical skills, with demonstrated customer relationship and communication strengths

Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight travel up to 20%
