Responsibilities

Working where you work best, perhaps in a home office and atmosphere designed by you, videoconferencing with colleagues and customers

Building or updating technical assets like Octopus Deploy projects that deploy applications to Tomcat on EC2 instances or containerized applications to a Kubernetes cluster using Helm

Working with your account team to discover the technical challenges and business goals of an account, and preparing a demo to showcase the value of Octopus Deploy and how it address their challenges and goals

Delivering a demo for and discussing the technical questions of a prospective customer

Providing guidance to a prospective customer conducting a Proof of Value with Octopus Deploy

Educating customers on the value of Octopus Deploy by developer blogs and guides, delivering talks and webinars, and attending events to evangelize Octopus Deploy

Required

You are a personable, polite, and positive person

You have a mix of technical skills and expertise—e.g.: development, release management, operations, infrastructure automation, cloud-native technologies

You have experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and have configured and used CI/CD tools

You are comfortable communicating with customers, carrying technical conversations, and delivering compelling value-based demos

You like to lean in and learn the latest technologies
