Responsibilities

The engineer in this position will be working to broaden the capabilities of the current generation of network packet broker platforms and help define the next generation
The candidate must be a highly productive developer with a good mix of software and teamwork skills, the ability to work within a cross-functional team of hardware and software developers, and the knowledge and expertise to find creative solutions to complex customer problems

Required

A bachelors or advanced degree in computer science or computer engineering
At least 10 years of industry experience
Strong networking knowledge. Network security experience is a plus
A background working in embedded software development and strong skills in low-level SW debug
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop and lead the development of software features within a large code base of C and Java SW
Sufficient hardware knowledge to work effectively with hardware, programmable logic, and manufacturing teams to help guide next-generation system architectures and effectively assist in the identification of complex issues
