Responsibilities

Build, manage, and set direction for the team as a whole, as well as for individual team member success

Standardize web development operations at Meta through managing the creation and ensuring adoption of reusable web templates and components that enables brand consistency and faster development

As a cross-functional partner, lead technical website discussions as a thought leader during product reviews and be responsible for designing and executing process and strategy frameworks that facilitate product-related goal setting, decision making, and business impact

Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Design, Content, Data Science, SEO & Content, and Marketing to define needs to support strategic planning and execution as well as metrics, program requirements, and scope

Communicate to stakeholders your team’s technology requirements, goals, and milestones

Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery

Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases

Perform risk and change management on highly visible projects

Influence program/product direction and simplify complexity

Required

12 + years of software industry experience, including web development, software engineering or technical product/program management experience or similar experience

Experience in leading teams and vendor partners to drive cross-functional projects through to success with minimal guidance

Experience in establishing and leading teams through multi-disciplinary relationships to drive product impact

Demonstrated experience of understanding technical aspects of running a website, including hosting, analytics, UX, technical and content SEO, domain management, content management system, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, platform tools, site performance, localization, and budgeting

Experience communicating and representing work to leadership and framing discussions to gain valuable feedback and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products

4 + years of people management experience leading teams to deliver technical programs or products from inception to delivery

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical technical experience
