Responsibilities
Assemble small, medium, or large lighting fixtures using hand tools and equipment per work instructions
Follow wiring diagrams and basic electrical instructions for product assembly
Perform testing, quality checks, and packaging of completed fixtures
Disassemble, repair, and repackage products as needed for resale
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following departmental 7S and safety procedures
Crosstrain across multiple assembly lines to support production flexibility
Participate in daily ergonomic exercises and promote team safety practices
Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and adherence to assigned schedules. Support and exhibit Visual Comfort’s Core Values and contribute to a positive team culture
Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule. While being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or Equivalent
A minimum of 1 year of full-time related experience as a production assembler
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal assembly instructions in English
Proficiency in using basic hand tools (e.g., wire cutters, strippers, screwdrivers, pliers)
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Demonstrates commitment, dependability, and adherence to company policies and schedules
