Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Data Center Technicians to support customers in multiple locations. The role involves ensuring the availability and reliability of data center operations through hardware and network diagnostics, repairs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Working to meet SLA’s against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow
Being first line touch point for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues
Performing regular server hardware repairs(drives, motherboards etc)
Carrying out routine network, server hardware and OS related repairs
Working with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to complete routine work
Adhering to security and safety best practices in the data center
Participating in team meetings for metric analysis and daily/weekly goals achievement
Identifying and help create documentation for use globally
Identifying and help create process improvements relevant to the data center environment
Performing server upgrades, rebuilds, scheduled works as required
Interacting with third party vendors & contractors
Contributing to the development of other team members
Qualification
Required
1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
1+ years of computer networking experience
High school or equivalent diploma
Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
Some regional travel may be required
Preferred
Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
