UTHealth Houston is a leading academic health center seeking a full-time Assistant Professor/Associate Professor for their Division of General Internal Medicine. The faculty will provide care for patients at the outpatient clinic, focusing on chronic disease management and health maintenance, while also supervising medical students and residents.

Responsibilities
Providing direct patient care in outpatient settings and other activities that may include supervision of medical students and residents in the clinic
Developing and sustaining an environment in the patient care units that supports excellence and innovation in clinical practice and patient care through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and standards that support positive patient care outcomes to include excellent risk-adjusted outcomes
Qualification
Required
M.D. or D.O
Texas Medical License
American Board of Internal Medicine certified or board-eligible
Preferred
Prior experience in adult primary care in the outpatient setting
