Ursus, Inc. is a Fortune 500 multi-national technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, CA. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join the Finance Risk & Controls team, facilitating and overseeing the execution and delivery of SOX Change Assessment projects.

Responsibilities

Triage and manage intake of new SOX Change Assessment requests

Manage prioritization and roadmap of SOX Change Assessment projects

Coordinate with key stakeholders (i.e., Business, Engineering, EP Compliance, Internal Audit, External Audit, etc.) and facilitate XFN collaboration to execute SOX Change Assessments

Oversee completion of project deliverables and ensure on-time delivery

Track assessment progress through the project lifecycle

Prepare periodic reporting for XFN partners and Finance/Accounting leadership

Report and escalate to R&C leadership as needed

Propose and implement improvements to the R&C service delivery model

Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive training programs and awareness campaigns to promote R&C’s services and service delivery models across the organization

Drive ongoing education initiatives to ensure stakeholders understand and effectively utilize R&C offerings

Oversee the maintenance and regular update of the team’s wiki page, including curating and organizing the latest templates, resources, and documentation in collaboration with subject matter experts to enhance accessibility and clarity for all team members

Required

Experience working in Project/Program management and strong knowledge of project management strategies and principles

Experience in developing or implementing solutions or operational improvements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills

Strong ability to work independently, be organized, and manage one's time

Strong ability to create relationships with XFN teams

Strong leadership and collaboration skills necessary to coordinate with multiple teams and drive alignment

Technologically savvy and experienced with Google and Microsoft suites

Preferred

PMP/PMI or similar certification

Prior experience at a tech company

Familiarity with Tableau and basic SQL
