Responsibilities

Represent clients in patent litigation before federal district courts, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and administrative bodies such as the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and International Trade Commission (ITC)

Develop and execute litigation strategies for high-stakes IP disputes, including Hatch-Waxman and biosimilar cases

Advise clients on patent portfolio management, enforcement, and risk mitigation strategies

Handle post-grant proceedings, including inter partes reviews and other PTAB matters

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated legal solutions across IP, regulatory, and commercial issues

Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents with precision and clarity

Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment

Required

J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility for admission)

4-8+ years of experience in patent litigation, preferably with exposure to life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or technology sectors

Advanced degree or significant coursework in a scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, electrical engineering) strongly preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

Ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Experience with Hatch-Waxman litigation, ITC actions, and appellate work is a plus

Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
