Pricing Team Lead

Responsibilities
Serve as an internal path of escalation for the internal pricing team to analyze complex and challenging residential focused pricing requests
Strategically review and approve regional standards and special pricing agreements utilizing trade area data, market & channel impact, product line strategy, price and profitability
Establish/maintain regular operating rhythm with commercial leadership, the business development team, and product management to review agreement performance, develop strategies to secure business and grow share
Work with adjacent teams to create robust reporting to track channel and end customer performance tied to volume estimations, say-do, mix commitments, profitability, etc. on pricing agreements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college; minimum of 4 Yrs in the Electrical Distribution Industry (deep understanding and knowledge of residential electrical products is an asset)
2+ years of experience in a commercial or analytics role
Proficient in MS Excel
Experience with tools and systems such as SAP, Vistaar and Vistex is a clear asset
Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal (in English); strong relationship builder; good facilitation and influencing skills
Understanding of cost structures, profit margins, financial statements, performance, general sales practices, sales enablement, channel sales, contract & risk management
