Responsibilities

Support local and regional water quality BMP designs, hydrology/hydraulic modeling, and site civil designs
Perform specialized technical tasks associated with hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, and site civil grading & drainage
Serve as a responsible technical lead, performing engineering tasks and coordinating the use of resources to accomplish multiple, concurrent water, environmental or transportation projects
Develop and apply water resources modeling and analyses to support local, regional, state, and federal water management planning, hydrology & hydraulic analyses, and facilities operations and design studies

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 8 years of related experience
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California
Demonstrated experience with water resources modeling, land development, site civil design, grading, drainage and utility design
Knowledge and experience with hydraulic modeling software such as WSPGW, HEC-RAS, Flowmaster, HY-8, Culvert Design, etc
Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis & technical problem solving, organizational skills, multitasking ability, and computer skills

Preferred

Emphasis on water resources preferred
Experience with Southern California local hydrology modeling software such as AES, CivilD preferred
Knowledge of California hydrology and water resources is preferred
